Security, Infrastructure & Cloud Technician

Cado Security is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Security, Infrastructure & Cloud Technician who is ready for their next challenge, and is keen to be a part of an exciting fast-growing cyber security company.

We are looking for someone who will assist our Security, Infrastructure & Cloud Team to build and manage our IT and Cloud operations as we continue through a period of significant growth across multiple regions. You will be working with a passionate, enthusiastic and fun team, and playing an important part in growing and shaping the company. There will also be exciting opportunities to assist with the research and development of our products and solutions.

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

You will have the opportunity to shape the role in your own way, though some of the standard responsibilities will include:

 

-> Management of our IT applications, including but not limited to: Google Workspace (Gsuite), Zoom, MS Office, Jira, etc.

-> Management of our laptop estate, and cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure and GCP.

-> Sourcing, implementation and management of security and audit monitoring solutions.

-> Develop and manage the IT onboarding and offboarding process for employees, provisioning everything they need, securely.

-> Assist with the procurement of hardware and software.

-> Develop and maintain IT and Data Protection best practises, ensuring the company maintains the required standard of security and compliance.

-> Manage IT backup solutions and recovery processes.

-> A subject matter expert for technology and IT security related issues.

-> Work cross-border with our office locations in the UK and USA.

 

Expected Skills & Experience: 

 

-> Experience with various enterprise operating systems and IT hardware.

-> Experience with administration of / architecting cloud environments.

-> Experience with enterprise software solutions.

-> Knowledge of common IT and Security best practises and standards.

-> Good communication skills (verbal, written and presentation).

-> A self-starter and someone who thrives under healthy pressure.

-> The ability to adapt to the role and adjust to business needs; with high attention to detail.

-> A passion for helping to build a business.

-> A team player who enjoys succeeding together.

-> Enjoys challenges and loves learning.

 

Nice to Have (Although not Required):

-> Experience in working in high growth environments, such as start-ups or high growth companies.

-> Experience in working with the technology and cyber security industries.

-> A degree, or other related certifications or qualifications.

-> Experience with Google Workspace (Gsuite).

-> Experience with enterprise security, or cyber security related fields.

 

Location: 

-> London (Waterloo South Bank location); Bristol would also be considered.

-> Flexibility to work remotely when needed.

-> Full time position.
